Anna Leigh Hedges

August 21, 2014 ~ September 13, 2018 (age 4) 4 Years Old

Tribute

Anna Leigh Hedges of Moore, Oklahoma flew up to Heaven on September 13, 2018 at the age of 4 years and 23 days old. She was born August 21, 2014 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to her biological parents, Roger Lemmings and Sharlene Archer.  At the age of 6 months, Anna had no idea how big of a blessing she would forever be to her adoptive parents, Sharla and Chrystal Hedges of Moore, Oklahoma.  A sweet girl loved by all who knew her, Anna was shared amongst many and she brought so much joy and happiness to her families.

Anna was a shining star and such a happy little girl. She loved her Mommie and Momma with all her heart. She never knew a stranger and touched the heart of everyone she met. Anna's favorite hobby was shopping with Momma. She loved her purses, bags, and backpacks and was rarely seen without them. Anna was also a mother hen to everyone around her and was always trying to help them, especially to her sisters whom she adored and loved to play with. She was a wonderful little caregiver and protector to those she loved, including her baby dolls whom she carried around and practiced diapering daily. When Anna wasn’t out shopping and making friends, you could usually find her playing in the sink. She was mesmerized by water and would run her hands through it as long as we would let her. She found happiness in the brightest colors that matched her beautiful eyes and loved rainbow everything. There was no single favorite color because she loved all of them at once and that perfectly describes our precious child; a spunky, cheerful little lady who made the world a more colorful place with her outrageous excitement for life. An angel far too perfect for Earth, our world will never be gray because it was colored by her.

She was preceded in death by her biological brother, Dennis Lemmings, who was born a sleeping angel on August 21, 2010. She was also preceded in death by two grandfathers, Jake Helfenbein and Mack Hedges.

Survivors include her parents, Sharla and Chrystal Hedges of the home; her biological parents, Roger Lemmings and Sharlene Archer; her sisters who were her very best friends,  Olivia, Lilyan, and Cailyn Hedges; Nana and PaPa, Deborah and Nolen Chandler of Blanchard, Oklahoma; GiGi, Ila Ward, of Foss, Oklahoma; great-grandparents, Lucille McKeag of Lake Havasu City, Arizona and Pam and Robert Bond of Panguitch Lake, Utah; aunts, Cynthia Graham and husband Allen, Tanya Cantrell, and Debra Speer; uncle, Chalentz Hedges and wife Robin; great-aunt, Rose Archer and husband Ronnie; great-aunt, Kimberly Bond; cousins, Lora Hall and husband Shawn, along with a very special cousin that Anna adored, Canyon Hall.
