Deborah “Debbie” Ann Owens, 66, of Moore Oklahoma passed away Sunday June 23, 2019 surrounded by her loved ones.
Debbie was born June 6, 1953 in Ada, Ok to Hagen Eugene and Sarah Norma Joann (Lewis) Owens. She went to cosmetology school and explored a variety of journeys before having her daughter, Kimberlea, on January 2, 1979.
She worked in real estate as well as a physicians group before settling into her role in Management. She loved anything and everything that involved her daughter and made sure she never went without. She loved to travel to the beach, camping, the race track and family reunions. Her love for bluegrass and anything Elvis was strong. She was known to cook the most amazing meals for any occasion and made enough to feed an army! And anytime The Stroll came on you can bet she would be in the center of the dance floor, even ill she strolled with her walker. Her pride and joy were her 2 grandkids, Bryce & Brinleigh. Anyone she met would hear all about them and she will leave her ornery legacy to them… Stories and giggles until her last days here on earth. Above all else she loved her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Survivors include her daughter, Kimberlea and husband Brian, along with her grandchildren Bryce and Brinleigh. Siblings and their spouses, Brent, Keith, Kimbo and Booty and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister.
Memorial Service will be held Thursday, June 27th at 10:00 AM at Moore Funeral and Cremation, 400 SE 19th Street, Moore, Ok.
