Derek Zane Rainwater was born on September 5th, 1962 to Patsy and Don Rainwater and was raised in Norman with his brother Monty.

Derek graduated from Moore High School and went on to attend classes at OU.

Derek met his wife, Darla, in Moore and soon began his career at OG&E. Together Derek and Darla raised two daughters, Maegyn and Brooke.

Derek spent his time playing golf, obsessing over OU football, working on his Jeep, and spending time with his family.

He was very well loved and will be missed.
