John William West III

John William West III, 70, of Moore, OK passed away on the 12th of December, 2018. Born on the 11th of July, 1948 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma to the late Technical Sergeant John West Jr., United States Air Force (Retired) and Juanita (Gage) West.

John married the love of his life, Christy (Forbes) West on the 18th of May, 1973. He faithfully served his country as a civil servant for 38 years before retiring from Tinker Air Force Base. Additionally, he served the Lord as a dedicated member at Covenant Fellowship Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, John and his son, Travis Allen West.  

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years; son, John William West IV and his wife, Amanda (Whittington) West, daughter, Nicole (West) Beaty and her husband, Kevin, 2 grandsons, Noah and Bryce Beaty. Additionally, he is survived by his mother, Juanita; brothers, Rick and Mike; sisters, Sherry, Brenda, and Carol and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation hours will be Tuesday, 18 December from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Moore Funeral & Cremation, 400 SE 19th Street, Moore, OK.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday, 19 December at 2:00 p.m.in the Chapel of Moore Funeral & Cremation.
