Karen Ann McCurley

Karen Ann McCurley passed from this life June 29, 2018. She was born November 8, 1944 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to James Paul and Glada Griffin.
Karen grew up in Pauls Valley and made Moore, OK her home for the past 46 years. She loved country dancing, spending time with her family, and absolutely adored her grandchildren and great-grandchild. She enjoyed watching basketball and was an avid OKC Thunder fan. Karen’s favorite hobby was collecting anything with elephants and she also loved traveling.
Karen worked at Frito Lay for many years, and most recently at Cutts 4 Mutts, a pet grooming business where she worked as the office manager.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Paul and Glada Griffin; daughter, Christy Pickett; and brother, Glenn Griffin.
Survivors include her son, Jerry McCurley and wife Amanda of Eufaula, OK; daughter, Stephanie Mashburn of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren, Deven McCurley and wife Crystyn and Tasia Fryett-McCurley; and great-grandchild, Creed McCurley. She is also survived by a host of loving extended family and friends.
