Lillian May Cantrell, 88 of Oklahoma City passed away Saturday, August 31, 2019. Born May 1, 1931 in Vian, Oklahoma to Charles and Clara (Brockman) Roark.
Lillian graduated from Vian High School and attended Connors State College where she earned an Associate degree. Lillian moved to Oklahoma City and worked for Federal Aviation Administration. She retired in 1994 after completing 22 years as a Computer Programmer.
In 1997, Lillian married Delton Cantrell and was married for 10 wonderful years until his passing.
Family and friends were her passion and delight. She enjoyed singing, reading, solving crossword puzzles, playing games, fishing, and watching sports.
Lillian attended Southern Oaks United Pentecostal Church, formerly known as Southeast United Pentecostal Church where she was a faithful member for 58 years. She loved reading her Bible and usually read it through several times per year.
She is survived by son, Thomas Mullins and wife Karen, daughter Debi Taylor and fiance Rick Perez; 6 grandchildren, Ryan Hadlock, Aaron Mullins and wife Ashley, Melissa Mullins, Drew Taylor, Dane Taylor and wife Jessica, Valena Fields and husband Paul, Dorothy Estrada;
6 great grandchildren, Xayden Taylor, Grace Hadlock, Jake Mullins, Reagan, Ashton, and Jaxson Taylor; 2 sisters, Lois Shanks and Fern Andrews; 2 brothers, Paul Roark and wife Ruby, and John Roark, Sister in law, Lynell Steward; and family of Delton Cantrell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Charles Roark and Frank Roark; sisters, Violet Long, Ruth Cook, and Monnie Davis-Sourjohn; son Jerry Mullins, and grandson David Mullins.
