Linda Darlene Brown

Linda was born 9/28/48 to Joan and Billy Russell of Daleville, IN.  Linda graduated from Daleville High School with Honors and continued her education at Ball State University.  She worked for Muncie Chevrolet as a gear lab inspector until she was laid off in 1980. Linda was a very talented artist and helped support her family for 4 years by teaching art, painting and selling art at local art and craft shows until 1984.  In 1984 Linda transferred with GM to Oklahoma City and worked on the assembly line until she retired in 1992. 
Linda loved her grandchildren and took great pride in teaching them arts and crafts, reading, writing and much more. 
Linda had many talents which included playing the piano and organ, drawing, painting, sewing, quilting and making other crafts. 
Linda is preceded in death by her mother Joan Russell, date of death 11/19/08, and survived by the following family:
Father, Billy Russell age 92 of Moore, OK.
Daughter and Son, Kathy and Robert Blackwell of Moore, OK.
Son and his wife, Lonnie Joe and Phyllis Brown of Tennessee.
Grandchildren:
Ryan and Corey Blackwell of Moore, Ok.
Leigha Kelsey Blackwell of Norman, OK.
Courtney Brown of Anderson, IN.
Joseph Brown of Newport, TN.
Great Grandchildren:
Bayleigh Ruth
Azrael Oliver
Freyja Faye


Visitation: 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Friday, November 22nd at Moore Funeral and Cremation, 400 S.E. 19th, Moore, Oklahoma.
