Mamie Joyce "Jo Jo" Goolsby

Mamie Joyce Goolsby, 83 - of Moore, OK joined her Heavenly Father Sunday, June 30, 2019. She was also affectionately known as “Jo Jo” by close family and friends.


Born August 21, 1935 in Rush Springs, OK to the late James Francis Bishop and Martha Loveta (Horton) Bishop.


She married her husband, Donald Anson Goolsby May 26, 1952. He preceded her in death in 1992. Joyce retired from Moore Public Schools earlier this year where she served as a School Bus Attendant for special needs children. She will dearly be missed and remembered by family and friends.


In addition to her parents and her husband, Joyce was preceded in death by her 3 sisters, Chloe, Jeannie, and Dortha.


Left to cherish her memory are her children, Frances, Ricky, Debra and Randy; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; 2 step-grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters; and 1 brother; many loving nieces and nephews.


Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 2nd from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore Funeral and Cremation, 400 SE 19th Street, Moore.


Funeral Service will be Wednesday, July 3rd at 2:00 PM at First United Methodist Church of Moore, 201 W. Main Street, Moore. Burial will follow in Schwartz Cemetery in Oklahoma City.
