Severiano A Deras Jr.

On October 24th, 2019, Severiano Deras Jr. passed away at the age of 53 in Oklahoma City, OK.  Sev was born to Severiano and Victoria Deras in 1966 in Los Angeles, CA.  In June of 1992 he married Andrea, and together they raised two children, Whitney and Julian.
He was the life of the party, and everyone he met was a friend.  His entire life he was drawn to machines: he was first a car mechanic for himself, friends, and family.  In the early 2000’s he attained his Associates in Applied Science in Automotive Technology, and worked with cars for several years.  He also worked as a diesel mechanic for a few years, then moved to working with planes at Tinker Air Force Base.  His passions included fishing and taking his boat out on the lake.
Sev is preceded in death by his father, Severiano.  He is survived by his mother, Victoria, his wife, Andrea, his two children, Whitney and Julian, his three grandchildren, and many siblings, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A public Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on November 5th, 2019 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Del City, OK.  The service will be followed by a luncheon and 'Celebration of Life' in the Parrish Hall for all who wish to attend.
