Sharon Kay Kennedy

Sharon Kay (Butler) Kennedy, age 80, passed away on October 17, 2019. She was born August 6, 1939 in Oklahoma City to R.A. and Flossie Butler. She was a 1957 graduate of Capitol Hill High School. She could type faster than a road runner and could do short hand faster than you could talk. She loved researching her ancestor's and spending time on her computer. She was a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was also a great partner in crime. She would give you the shirt off of her back, and when she smiled it made the sun shine brighter. She is preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Katrina, her brother Duane and her husband’s Jerry Kennedy and Loren Bennett.
She is survived by her daughter’s Shondra Johnson, Tambra Daugherty and husband Roy, Cheryl Murray and husband Larry, Kelley Simms and her husband Curtis and her sister Linda Chaffin and her husband Gary, as well as four grandsons Jeff, Chris, Dustin and his wife Melissa and Todd and his wife Samantha. She also has six great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
Services will be held at Moore Funeral and Cremation on October 24th at 2:00 pm.
