Sharon Kaye Thomason

Sharon Kaye (Merritt) Thomason, 74, of Oklahoma City went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Thursday, April 25, 2019 surrounded by her family.

She was born to the late Lloyd Franklin and Marthelle Elaine Merritt.  She graduated from Lawton High School, and then from Central State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. Sharon retired from public education after 38 years of teaching.  Sharon Is survived by her husband Jim and their three children and their families. 


Visitation will be held Sunday, April 28th from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Moore Funeral and Cremation, 400 SE 19th Street, Moore, OK.


Funeral services will be held Monday, April 29th at 11:00 AM at The Crown Center, 13300 S. Western Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK with Pastor John Youell officiating. Visitation at the church will be one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City.
